An Irish Print

I’ve always really wanted to get a big chalkboard and become really good at drawing holiday prints and fun sayings all over it, but I just know I’d be so bad at it. For one, I’m left-handed so it would probably be a smudgy mess. Also, I suck at typography/calligraphy/print. So for now I’ll have to satisfy myself by making amateur prints on Photoshop, like the one below. Oh well.

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, I’m feeling some major Irish pride. What I’m really into is reading old (and new) Irish toasts, which I have to say, are some of the best! I’m doing my best to commit some favorites to memory for when the right occasion arises. The Irish really knew how to party and what to party for. Who knew?!

Here’s a quote I recently found somewhere that stuck with me. I think it’s perfect for this time of year.

Just makes ya want to pour yourself a Guinness! Or, if you’re like me and you have to work on Saturdays, an Irish Coffee.

Also, since I would hate to miss another Friday Five, here are 5 chalkboard prints I love. Thank you, Etsy.
